I’m told that I was a bit of a smart ass as a teen, so it’s probably not too surprising that as an adult that I would find famous quotes, and have the chutzpah to offer improvements.
In the example below, the word in parentheses is of the original author, and is to be left out; the word in bold italics is mine, and replaces the one in parentheses.
